I’ve just added findanillustrator.com to my blogroll over on the left. It’s basically a wall of illustrators and each image is a link to their info. I update it every time I update the rotating image on Hai!.
I’m planning on redesigning this website blog at some point to be more of a portfolio for my web design work.

A few weeks ago I visited the Norwich School of Art & Design to talk to the 3rd years about promotion and to do a portfolio surgery. I had a great time and I’m glad I went. I was invited by illustrator and lecturer Robert Shadbolt… I think he was surprised at how young I was, but I don’t think it made any difference to the advice I was giving - at the end of the day.
A couple of the students really stood out as having what it takes to make it as a freelancer in their chosen field, but an overlaying lack of confidence or direction from the rest which was reflected through their work worried me as the majority of them wanted to jump head first in the illustration industry at the end of the of their course. They all had potential, but if an illustrator doesn’t believe in their own work why should an employer.
The End of Year Exhibitions - Thursday 26th June - Wednesday 2nd July 2008. I’m thinking about making another trip there to check it out!

I literally work seven days a week from around 7:30am till 9pm stopping for lunch and dinner. I’m planning to start taking Sundays off and half a day during the week, but I’m not sure what the best or most appropriate day during the week is. Maybe Friday? I know working this way I’m not going to burn myself out because I’ve been doing it for such a longtime and the energy levels are still high and I enjoy what I do The reason I’m looking at taking some time off is because I enjoy traveling even if it’s local. I want to start getting out with my camera and even maybe start doing some illustration again. I work at home, so I live at work.
