Websites without the tears

Pixel Presence the web portfolio service I created and built was recently featured in Advance Photoshop Magazine as part of a feature called “A head start to getting your portfolio online: Websites without tears”.

It’s a great article about the perils and advantages of getting yourself online with as little fuss as possible. The feature was written by Nick Spence. The artwork you can see in the press cuttings is by the talented Famous When Dead.

I’m back…
I’m back and back to work, next week is going to be a busy week.

On Monday I’ve got an interview with illustrator Doug Boehm to put up on the LCS and a couple Spotlights to add to Hai!. Plus I’m going to get the ball rolling on the Hai! Autumn Catalogue.

Last week me, Jane & Jack went to the seaside town of Hunstanton, above is just one of the hundreds of photos I took. Our dogs would have loved it there, but to give use a bit more freedom over the week Jane’s mother look after them for the duration.

I’m off for a week!
There’s a new interview on the LCS, this time its with the talented Chris Buzelli. Also yesterday the LCS news archive hit the two year mark with over 3600 news items.

Over on Hai! illustrator and educator Rob Perry is under the spotlight. His work can be seen on the right out the two illustrations above with Chris’ on the left. I’m off on holiday for a week from Monday, so I’m all setup with my mobile broadband, packed my socks and ready to go. Support for all the service I run may be a bit slower than normal, but I will be checking in twice or a least once a day to deal with any queries or support questions anyone might have. I’ll post some photos up from my trip when we get back… after I’ve dealt with the mountain of work I’m sure will be waiting for me upon my return.
X-Files - I want to believe is out on the 25th and I’m hoping to get to see it on it day of release, below is a trailer…
Loads and loads of great news to announce, but it will have to wait!

Find an illustrator

I’ve just added findanillustrator.com to my blogroll over on the left. It’s basically a wall of illustrators and each image is a link to their info. I update it every time I update the rotating image on Hai!.
I’m planning on redesigning this website blog at some point to be more of a portfolio for my web design work.
