I don’t normally post about press, even though the LCS and MAiLmeART has been written about by numerous publications… But to break a trend I really liked the article about online creative communities by Nick Spence in the latest edition of Advanced Photoshop magazine. All the usual suspects were there including the LCS. Go and check it out - I got a copy from WHSmiths this morning.
Here is a sneek peak at a new site/project I have been working on.

I kindly got sent a copy of Michael Slack’s ICK for review a little while ago. I’ve been playing the game non-stop with my son for weeks now, and yesterday I spotted this animation for the game on YouTube
I still need to write the review, but I’m not sure what to say about it. The box it comes in is great with its magnetic lid and fantastic artwork… But I’m sure the review will go down the toilet as soon as I mention one of the characters has a bottom for a face.
Maybe I can drag the review back up from the gutter by mentioning how great the fully illustrated instruction booklet is. Oh… And I can mention me and my son have been playing it for weeks.
I’m not sure if this is for the public yet, but Chronicle Books have a site up for the game. [link..]
I would buy it just for the artwork ![]()

Just after I sent out an LCS newsletter this morning - the morning mail got delivered and wedged in-between the bills was possible the coolest mail art ever! I had recently interviewed Beano comic book artist Nigel Parkinson, and after the interview was posted on the LCS I mentioned to him that my son was a big fan of the beano, and that I was running a mail art project. He told me he would send a signed copy for my son, but I didn’t expect him to draw a real Dennis and Gnasher on the envelope. Wow! ![]()
